Project Initiation

As your construction manager, BDI can assist in the Project Initiation Process via feasibility analysis, outlining a delivery schedule and goals, developing project budgets, defining project scope, determining interim milestones and project constraints.
Development of a Project Plan that ingrates the project’s scope, timeline, cost, quality assurance, resources, information & communication, risk assessment, and procurement of outside goods and services is critical for the success of your project.

Project Planning

BDI will continue to ensure the success of your project through proper project planning. We begin by creating a Work Breakdown Structure, identifying required responsibilities and assigning the appropriate resources.
We continue refining the project plan  through  defining scope, resource planning, organizational planning, estimating costs, critical path scheduling, estimating payment schedule, solicitation & procurement planning, quality control planning, and risk management & risk response planning.

Project Execution  & Control

We begin by sending out Requests for Proposals and Invitations to Bid, reviewing and qualifying proposals, and administrating contracts.
We monitor construction progress and quality control, chair job progress meetings, issue meeting minutes, review and approve vendor’s submittals and requests for payment.
BDI will review Requests for Changes to scope, cost & schedule, evaluate the need and alternatives to the “RFC” and then integrate approved changes into the project plan, all the while maintaining quality control and managing risk.

Project Close-Out

Proper Project Close-Out is imperative to completing a successful project. Performing a comprehensive Punch List in a timely manner and immediately scheduling the completion of this list is priority.
Close-Out also encompasses: evaluating work packages, product demonstrations and training, as-built drawings, product warranties, final lien waivers, contract close-out, final inspections, balancing project budget, and formal acceptance.
